INTEGER FUNCTION IP2_VAR( val, kind )
DESCRIPTION
Generates newstyle ip2 coded value. This function is a shorthand to convip.

| kind | kind (integer, usually 10; time coordinate) as defined in convip |

| IP2_VAR | integer ip2 newstyle coded value |
